Question #1
Explain why x-motion differ from y-motion? Why both have different sound patterns ?
X-component of Projectile motion
Y-component of Projectile motion

X-component of Projectile motion
Question #2
If both balls are same weight of 25.000g, and the stand is 1.500m high from the bench, the ball in the left hand side has only vertical motion, and the ball in the right had side has 2.500 m/s horizontal initial velocity, calculate how long each ball will take to hit the bench? Explain this situation in detail (If initial horizontal speed of the right hand side ball was 5.000 m/s, What would happen?).
Check out http://www.walter-fendt.de/ph14e/projectile.htm and find out the answer was correct.

Lab Report for Exp. 2.1, 2.2, & 2.3
Following point should be addressed in Discussion and Conclusion section.
- If one were performed Exp. 2.1 & 2.3 on Mass, what would be the results?
- If one were performed Exp. 2.1 on Jupiter, what would be the results?
Jackie Sherrill accused Auburn punter Terry Daniels of filling football with helium
3) If you were used two footballs (which one of them filled with helium (He)), which one would fall quickly if the released 5m above your lab floor?

Lab Report for Exp. 1.1 & 1.2 on Fri Aug 24th
Following point should be addressed in Discussion and Conclusion section.
0. If you think you did a mistake in the lab, 'how do you overcome it?'
0. If you think you did a mistake in the lab, 'how do you overcome it?'
- What is the critical measurement that you obtained in this lab experiment?
- How to increase the time interval for a given trail?
- What do you expect to your final results if you used
- a very long board (about 5m)
- a very short board ( about 0.5m)
- a light ball
- a heavy ball
- a stop watch that has seconds only (does not have milliseconds)
- a board that has uneven surface.
- What would you do to improve the quality of the experiment?
- How do you obtained reasonable results?
- Give a revised set of apparatus for the lab.
